Any website, new or old, can protect everything online, including data, media an even their HTML and JavaScript by using good website protection software. However when I refer to "good website protection", I do not include the plethora of "content protection' solutions that actually don't do much more than disable a user's right-click mouse menu. Because to properly protect web content, and here we mean protect everything and protect from all avenues of exploit, one needs website protection software that really does cover all bases.

The best website protection software is the ArtistScope Site Protection System (ASPS) which creates a secure tunnel between website and the user's web browser that cannot be accessed, read or exploited by any other means than by a web browser especially designed to request such web pages and then decrypt them for display. Unlike normal web browsers, the ArtisBrowser is designed throughout to protect data and the origin of the media resources embedded in a web page. Normal web browsers will only retrieve a recommendation to install the ArtisBrowser. No data can be extracted from browser cache or memory. In fact ASPS web pages are even safe from packet sniffing software.

What that means, is that everything on a web page can be protected including CSS and JavaScript, making it impossible for content thieves to download your web site, change its branding and then publish it on their own web site as their own, like so many startups do these days.

With ASPS not only is the web content, the files that comprise your web pages, safe from copy and exploit, but while on display in the ArtisBrowser, they are also protected from copy by PrintScreen and screen capture. Images displayed on your website cannot be copied and nor can videos be screen recorded.

However while everything can be most securely protected on your web site, there is one exception, and that applies to PDF documents. That is because while normal PDF can be embedded to display on a web page, the resource that that is used by default is usually the Adobe Reader which provides options in its reader toolbar for copy and print that can no longer be removed. So to protect PDF displayed on web pages, you need to use the CopySafe PDF Protection software. CopySafe PDF provides the best all round protection for both desktop publishing and online reading, and is the only PDF security software that can prevent all copy while displayed from web pages.
But what about search engines? Well that is up to you. How much of your website you leave unprotected to serve as doorway pages and search engine fodder, and which pages or sections are copy protected is easily controlled by simply nominating a keyword that is common to the pages that you want to protect.
